My trip to San Diego July 2nd to July 6th

Day 1 - July 2nd 2019

We took the train to the airport in the morning. At the airport I saw "EVA AIR" on the list of airlines flying out from O'Hare.

Then I got hungry so we went to McDonalds. The receipt had the number 444 on it, and that means I was on the right path

We got to San Diego and checked into the hotel. Our room was on the 15th floor and it had beautiful views of the bay. Later we rode an electric scooter called "Bird". We rode the electric scooter to a what looks like a pirate ship so we took pictures with it.

Day 2 - July 3rd 2019

We got up and we had breakfast.We took the electric tram to Old Town San Diego. We walked around, we saw Mexican ceramic store with beautiful, colorful pottery.

After that we got a cab to Coronado island. On the way there my mom told me there was a ghost in the hotel on the island. i thought my mom was making this up to scare me but it was not joke my mom read a story to about a young woman who checked in the hotel in 1892 and killed herself there with a shot gun. Ever since then she spirit is haunting the hotel in room 3327.

So then we got to the beach and we saw a big sand castle. When we got there the Pacific Ocean was vary cold but i got used to it i played for 2 hours it was a lot of fun.{2hours later}.

We went back and it was time for the kids club. I played with my mom for a little bit; then the person came his name was Jose my mom was talking to Jose. After she left, Jose and I played Connect 4. I was the only kid there so we played for a little and i won all of the rounds, so Jose was getting tired of losing so we went to some more games and I lost, so then we went to a boarad game called candy land so we played it. We played for a little bit,I won 2 rounds and Jose won 3 rounds too, it was tied i called that who ever wins gets to chose the game for next round.

So then I did not win so then Jose picked out some good games the games where battle ship{no one won} and tis game called wawho and we could not find the instructions so we made up our own rules. Because it had word cards we made silly sentences. Jose and I laughed so hard!!! Later I got a snack and then we played Jenga. The tower kept falling on Jose. After that it was getting pretty cold outside so we went inside and we made sand-filled pens; after that we started drawing and he taught me how to draw pizza and ice cream. My mom picked me up after that.

Day 3 - July 4th 2019

In the morning, something funny happened: we got a "visitor" on our windowsill on the 15th floor. It was a seagull staring at me. She was not afraid of us so we took lots of pictures; we named the seagull "Ellie". She sat there for a long time.

Later that morning we went to the amusement park on the beach. We went on the Vertical Plunge and then then the Giant Dipper roller coaster. My mom was very scared and swore to never get in a roller coster ever again. I was scared but I actually liked it. We went in the bumper cars and later played arcade games. I won a few stuffed animals: a narwal, a dolphin and little doggy pillow. It was a LOT OF FUN!!!

We went back to the hotel and spent time at the pool. After that we were really tired so we napped. After the nap we wend to dinner in downtown San Diego and then we explored the city a little bit. Later that evening we found a good spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks. They were so cool!!!

Day 4 - July 5th 2019

In the morning we walked to the Children's Museum, across the street from the hotel.
